Dog-friendly activities along Australia’s east coast?

We are travelling up the east coast of Australia with a 35kg friendly, unaggressive dog and are wondering if any one has any tips regarding travelling in this area with pets? Are there any tours or activities that are pet friendly? We want to enjoy our holiday as much as possible without feeling too restricted by the fact that we have our dog with us. Thanks very much in advance.

  2. The east coast is very child and pet friendly. There are literally hundreds of caravan parks and motels where you can take your pet. Most beach towns have areas set aside where dogs are not only welcome but allowed off their leashes. You will have to avoid the National Parks, but some State Forests will allow you to camp with your dog. There are heaps of webs sites that will tell you about pet friendly holidays here. You won’t have any problem finding amazing places to stay.
