not a question just a friendly reminder—-
Be very careful in giving your pets meat over the holiday
— Keep in mind foods high in fat such as Ham, porkchops, and roasts can do harm to them
they have such a high fat content that they cause their pancrease to be overloaded and cause them to be inflammed (known as pancreatitis)
This can cause them to become very ill vomiting, diarrhea, and very lethargic. Pets can get so bad that they need to stay at a vet on IV fluids and some may not overcome the problem
Remember that dog treats are the right way to go and keep your cherished pet safe this holiday
( work in a vet office and see it every year)
Thanks for the tips. Also poinsettias are toxic to pets and should be kept out of reach. Mistletoe berries are fatal to dogs also.
